The boys lived in a TENT. Jacob and Jonah had no bed. They had no home. The brothers and their pregnant mother had lost their home and moved from motel to motel until money ran out. The family had no choice but to live in a tent. They bathed in a nearby creek and cooked over a campfire. Jacob and Jonah’s situation was desperate until the boys came to Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH).

Those were Jacob’s words when his cottage parents showed the brothers their bedroom. “Excited” doesn’t begin to describe the absolute joy on their faces as the brothers realized they would not be sleeping on the cold ground any longer. They came to BCH with nothing but the dirty clothes on their backs. That same day, they would be given new clothes, nutritious food (they were very hungry), and the peace of knowing that when they woke up from that first night in their warm beds that these comforts would still be there. Your bed sponsorship RESCUES CHILDREN! For $25 per month, you provide a child with a warm bed, food and clothing at a BCH cottage. You may sponsor a room with two children for $50 per month or an entire cottage for $250 per month.
