Intellectual &
Developmental Disabilities
Every individual deserves the opportunity to live in a stable, supportive environment where their unique abilities are recognized and nurtured. Through our Special Needs ministry, Baptist Children’s Homes connects adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to compassionate homes and personalized support services that promote dignity, independence, and belonging.
We believe that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities thrive best in family-style settings that provide structure, encouragement, and individualized care. Our ministry focuses on creating alternative family living arrangements where individuals are supported by trained caregivers in safe, stable homes.
Rather than institutional settings, we prioritize relational environments that foster growth, life skills, and meaningful connection.

Supporting Families
We understand that families caring for individuals with special needs often carry significant responsibility. Our ministry provides peace of mind by ensuring their loved ones are cared for in environments that are safe, nurturing, and structured.
Our goal is to strengthen both individuals and the families who love them.

A Commitment to Dignity
Every person we serve is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. We focus not only on care, but on quality of life — helping adults experience stability, community, and purpose.
