VOLUNTEER
We'll help you find your spot!
One of the best ways to be involved with the many ministries of Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH) is to become a volunteer. Regardless of your age, location and interests, we have a spot for you and/or your group throughout the dozens of communities across NC, SC and Guatemala where BCH serves.
-
Why Volunteer? For us, volunteers fill an essential spot. As a nonprofit, the primary focus of our time and resources must be providing Christ-centered care and programs for the children, families, expectant mothers, special needs adults, aging adults – everyone we have the privilege to serve. This means we have limited resources for tackling projects such as clean up, landscaping, painting, office tasks and even items where skilled individuals are necessary. Volunteers are needed for taking care of these and many other responsibilities at our different locations. It is a perfect way we can go on mission together.
-
Who Can Volunteer?Anyone can take a spot! We have projects for all ages and groups regardless of ability – you just need a willing heart. Whether it is a church group looking for a missions opportunity, a community group or individual needing a service project, or if you have specialty skill sets and resources, we have a place for you.
-
When Can I/We Volunteer? We can work with you on time that is convenient for you and/or your group. We also have scheduled one-day missions Saturdays twice a year called “Friends of Children.” There are also events throughout the year where volunteers can step into a spot.
