Prayer Partners

Why Prayer Matters

At Baptist Children’s Homes, we believe that lasting change does not begin with programs or strategies—it begins with prayer.

Prayer reminds us that God is the one who heals broken families, restores hope, and transforms lives. Every day, children and families across North Carolina face challenges that no human effort alone can fix. But through prayer, we ask the Lord to work in ways only He can.

Scripture reminds us:

“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”— James 5:16

For more than a century, God has used the prayers of His people to guide the ministry of Baptist Children’s Homes. We believe that every child served, every family restored, and every life changed begins with people faithfully praying.

BECOME A BCH PRAYER PARTNER

"Will you join us in becoming a Prayer Partner? Signing up to be a Prayer Partner simply means that you will receive a monthly email with an overall prayer focus from myself along with several additional prayer prompts to guide your time with the Lord on behalf of the children, families and adults in our care. The goal is that we would be prayerfully united in seeking His kingdom here on Earth and that God will work through all of BCH’s efforts so that those we serve come to know the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank you for your love of the Lord and the BCH ministry."
