OUR COMMITMENT TO SITE VISITORS

It is BCHfamily.org's policy that personal information, such as names, postal and e-mail addresses, or telephone numbers are private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purpose for which you provide the information.

Personal information will not be released to third parties, except if release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide information to third parties.

Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina is grateful for our partners in ministry and committed to respecting their privacy.

Baptist Children’s Homes has developed this privacy policy to ensure donors that their information will not be shared with any third party.

 

USE OF DATA

We commit to our donors that we will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.  We commit that the identity of our donors will be kept confidential.  Use of donor information will be limited to BCH to further the mission of Baptist Children’s Homes with permission from the donor. (Example: The publication of an article in Baptist Children’s Homes’ Charity and Children news publication highlighting a donor’s gift for opening a new residential cottage.)

This policy applies to all information received by Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina through electronic/online communications as well as traditional written/offline communications.  This includes the organization’s monthly newsletter, Charity and Children, corporate websites and mobile applications as well as additional electronic, written and oral communications.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

TEXT MESSAGING CONSENT


If you choose to participate in our text-to-give or text-to-initiate programs, you agree to receive text messages from Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina related to donations, campaigns, and updates.

  • Message and data rates may apply, and you may receive recurring messages.

  • By providing your mobile phone number, you confirm that you are the owner of the number or have the owner’s permission.

  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you may receive one final confirmation text.

  • Your personal information, including your mobile phone number, will be kept confidential and will only be used by Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina unless otherwise required by law.

  • Phone numbers collected through these programs are used solely for the purposes described here and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
