Through six years of ministry and two Rampin’ Ups (2012, 2014), North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry (NCBAM) has asked many groups to build wheelchair ramps including Baptists on Mission, churches and civic groups. The one group they had never asked to build a wheelchair ramp was themselves. That changed when NCBAM team members, along with their family and friends, came together in Iredell County to construct three ramps in one day. Rampin’ Up is held every two years in conjunction with Operation Inasmuch. Hundreds of ramps for frail aging adults have been built.
