Lydea Carson, a resident at Care House in Lenoir, graduates from Hibriten High School on June 8. She plans to pursue her college degree and become a registered nurse.
Katherine Edwards will graduate from North Lenoir High School on June 9. She plans to move from a part-time to full-time position at the grocery store where she is employed. She is a resident at Kennedy Home in Kinston.
Chelsea Goodman graduates on June 12 from Catawba Valley Community College’s Adult High School program in Hickory. She is a resident at Care House in Lenoir and plans to pursue a degrees in early childhood education and photography.
Israel Juan, a resident of Kennedy Home in Kinston, graduates on June 9 from North Lenoir High School. He will continue to work at the local grocery store while exploring further education opportunities.
Pauline Locklear is a resident at Odum Home in Pembroke. She graduates from Purnell Swett High School on June 8 and plans to attend Robeson Community College to study cosmetology.
Catalina Perez graduates from Pisgah High School on June 16. A resident at Broyhill Home in Clyde, she will study elementary education at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.
Akevia Wilson graduated on May 5 from Chowan University in Murfreesboro. Akevia is a resident of Britton Ministries’ Family Care program in Ahoskie. She will teach third grade at Bearfield Elementary School.
STAFF MEMBERS’ CHILDREN
Benjamin Adamcik, son of human resources director John Adamcik, graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh on May 11. He received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and plans to pursue a masters degree.
Lauryn Beeson is the daughter of North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry (NCBAM) call center director Melanie Beeson. Lauryn graduates on June 9 from North Davidson High School and plans to attend Meredith College in Raleigh.
Seth Beeson graduated on May 10 from Campbell University –– Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine in Buies Creek. He received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and plans to complete general surgery residency in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the son of NCBAM’s Melanie Beeson.
Tyson Child graduates from East Davidson High School on June 9. Tyson is the son of Brook Child, Assistant Director of Weekday Education in Thomasville. He will attend Appalachian State University in Boone. Tyson plans to pursue a Bachelor's of Science degree in political science/pre-professional legal studies concentration.
Joshua Henry, son of chief operating officer Keith Henry, graduated from High Point Christian Academy in High Point on May 25. He will attend Western Carolina University and pursue a degree in computer science and engineering.
Jonathon Hofstetter is the son of Brenda Hofstetter, NCPreK teacher for Weekday Education in Thomasville. He graduates on June 9 from South Davidson High School and will pursue a degree in media communication from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.
Matthew Hofstetter graduates from South Davidson High School on June 9 and will attend Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC to pursue a degree in youth ministry. Matthew is the son of Weekday Education’s Brenda Hofstetter.
Cole Jarrell is the son of Clay Jarrell. Clay is the foster care supervisor at Kennedy Home in Kinston. Cole graduates from Bethel Christian Academy on June 1. He plans to secure an internship in video editing and production with intentions of pursuing his college education.
Breana Kirsch, daughter of Kim LeSage, assistant director at Fancy Finds in Thomasville, graduated from Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point on May 25. Breana will attend Western Carolina University in Cullowhee where she plans to study social work.
Courtney Shore graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro with a cosmetology degree on May 2. After obtaining her state license, she will pursue a career in cosmetic arts. She is the daughter of Jennifer Shore who serves as a call center specialist with NCBAM.

Nicolette Rogers, marketing and communications manager for Fancy Finds in Thomasville, graduated from High Point University in High Point on May 5. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Event Management.
Jennifer Shore graduated from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro on May 2 with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work. She plans to pursue a Masters in Gerontology. Jennifer is a call center specialist with NCBAM and is a former child in care living at Broyhill Home in Clyde in the nineties.
