Dreams become reality for 2018 graduates

BCH RESIDENTS

Lydea Carson, a resident at Care House in Lenoir, graduates from Hibriten High School on June 8. She plans to pursue her college degree and become a registered nurse.

Katherine Edwards will graduate from North Lenoir High School on June 9. She plans to move from a part-time to full-time position at the grocery store where she is employed. She is a resident at Kennedy Home in Kinston.

Chelsea Goodman graduates on June 12 from Catawba Valley Community College’s Adult High School program in Hickory. She is a resident at Care House in Lenoir and plans to pursue a degrees in early childhood education and photography.

Israel Juan, a resident of Kennedy Home in Kinston, graduates on June 9 from North Lenoir High School. He will continue to work at the local grocery store while exploring further education opportunities.

Pauline Locklear is a resident at Odum Home in Pembroke. She graduates from Purnell Swett High School on June 8 and plans to attend Robeson Community College to study cosmetology.

Catalina Perez graduates from Pisgah High School on June 16. A resident at Broyhill Home in Clyde, she will study elementary education at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.
