It is our privilege to invite you to be a part of the ministry of Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) by participating in this year's ANNUAL OFFERING. It is our prayer that you will see this invitation as much more than the passing of the offering plate. This is an opportunity to change both the physical and eternal direction of the boys and girls we are privileged to serve together.
Your church's offering will minister to North Carolina children who have been broken by horrific abuse, weakened by hunger and neglect, and believe they have no one to trust because adults have let them down. Too often, the ones who have hurt them are their own family members.
Your offering brings restoration to the lives of these precious children! Through the prayers and support of your church, a child comes to a safe BCH home where he doesn't have to worry about being hurt. A child who could only depend on a local soup kitchen or school cafeteria for food is fed nutritious meals three times a day. A child who has lost all trust in adults finds Christian houseparents who love her with the unconditional love of Jesus. Your offering provides a child all of these things. It restores his strength. It shows her she is valued and loved.
We could go on and on sharing why your support of the ANNUAL OFFERING is so important and how you are impacting the lives of so many. Instead, listen to the voices of the children themselves:

It fits with my favorite Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11 which says 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" - Paige, resident from BCH's Broyhill Home in Clyde.
Sherman, Megan and Paige are all children who have been given a hope and future in the name of Christ because of the generous support of churches like yours. Your offering gives us the greatest privilege of all - the opportunity to introduce children to THE GREAT IAM. With 80% of our residents coming to BCH unchurched and unreached for Christ, your congregation makes it possible for us to share the Gospel and shine the light of Jesus into their hearts and lives.
