Church Giving

Churches are essential partners in helping Baptist Children’s Homes (BCH). They share their time, talents and resources to meet the daily needs of BCH’s boys and girls across the state. Many churches give designated financial gifts throughout the year. Churches also help by supporting Cooperative Missions Giving through the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The generosity of churches across the state reminds children that hope abounds and that they are loved – no matter what!

How to help:
Thanksgiving Offering – Each year, North Carolina Baptists show their love and support for children by participating in the annual offering for Baptist Childrens Homes. Click here to order this year’s materials and video to promote the offering in your church.

Change For Children – “Change for Children” offers individuals and groups a variety of ways to help change the lives of children. Collect a “Mile of Pennies,” organize a “Walk for Change” or a “Bike for Change” in your church. Click here to learn more.

Friends of Children Workdays – From painting to planting, participants help with special BCH facility projects, tour campuses and have lunch with children and staff. Click here to learn more

Food Roundup – Each Spring, the “Food Roundup” offers an opportunity for churches, businesses and organizations to help provide for the needs of BCH’s boys and girls in care throughout North Carolina. Click here to learn more.

Food Lion Program - Attention Food Lion shoppers! Help BCH by simply buying groceries! Use your MVP card and Food Lion will donate monies to BCH. You must sign up for this program. Click here to "link" your MVP card to the BCH location of your choice. Call 336-474-1211 for more information.

Piggly Wiggly Program - Attention Piggly Wiggly shoppers! Pick up a eScrip Community Card, swipe it every time you shop and Piggly Wiggly will contribute up to 3% to Baptist Children's Homes. BCH Kids – BCH Kids is a program designed to enrich children’s lives while helping them learn about Baptist Children’s Homes through a series of activity booklets. BCH Kids teaches children how they can make a difference in the life of another child. Visit www.bchkids.org.
