Oak Ranch

Baptist Children's Homes' (BCH) Oak Ranch program offers an outcome-based residential service for at-risk children. Located on 755 acres of land near Broadway, North Carolina, the program is a unique ranch experience. A specialized equine program component helps residents achieve goals. Interacting and caring for the Ranch's horses helps boys and girls learn important responsibilities and other values that can be transferred and utilized at home and in their communities.

Child care workers live with residents in cottages while social work staff members serve the entire family helping them overcome challenges by setting goals and working toward successful outcomes. The program offers clarification/value change, continuing care, and after care services.
