Baptist Children's Homes' Care House in Lenoir provides a unique teen mother/baby parent education program in a group home setting. Single mothers learn parenting, vocational, and educational skills while living with their babies. Care House offers twenty-four hour group care and an on-site, five-star state rated day care.

12.09.2009: Care House Receives Realtors Association Gift

Care House in Lenoir was chosen by the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors to receive a special $1,500 gift. Each year, the association raises funds for selected service organizations. BCH's Lynn Garner, Donna Lail and Linda Taylor received the check at the Lake Hickory Country Club in Hickory on December 9 during the association's monthly meeting. 08.18.2009: Care House Celebrates 20 Years

Today, Care House celebrates 20 years of serving young mothers and their babies as a part of Baptist Children's Homes' statewide network of ministry. Care House admitted its first resident and baby on August 18, 1989. Today, program director Donna Lail and her staff have served 215 girls and babies.... more
