Wild West Day at Oak Ranch

10.27.2009

Oak Ranch held its annual "Wild West Day and Trail Ride" on Saturday, October 24th. Many blessings were experienced throughout the day as 49 riders took to the trails on horseback and approximately 225 visitors enjoyed a variety of activities at the Ranch. Visitors participated a variety of outdoor games including moon bouncing and archery. They also enjoyed herding demos, live music, the race car ministry, making crafts and exploring Cameron Boys Camp's Tee-pee. Some even tried their hand at roping as well as horse riding. While the weather threatened to dampen the day, the Lord showed His hand at the event as rain poured down all around in every direction except at the event itself. It even rained at the property entrance a mile from the activities, but not on the trails or event sites. Amazing! What a mighty God we serve. We extend our greatest appreciation to all the volunteers, supporters, and staff members who shared their time and resources to make this event a huge success. We also appreciate every visitor whom expressed their support of Oak Ranch by participating in the day.
