Davis House resident speaks to YMCA Board of Directors

05.26.2008

Brian, a resident at Davis House in Winston-Salem, has been volunteering at the Central YMCA in Winston-Salem for a couple of years. He keeps himself busy on a daily basis folding towels, cleaning the YMCA, and being an official greeter for the guests. On Thursday, May 22nd, Brian went to a 7:30 AM breakfast for the Board of Directors of the YMCA for the city of Winston-Salem to talk about his experiences being a volunteer and to speak to how much the volunteer opportunity has meant to him. Brian did well during his speech and helped to respresent the program well. Brian has even paved the way for other Davis House residents to volunteer at the YMCA. Keep up the good work, Brian.
