Stegall Home Receives Multiple Blessings

01.19.2010

Saturday, January 9th, approximately 40 friends of Stegall Home showed up to help out with some much needed maintenance projects. We had help from the New Horizons class from Hopewell Baptist Church with painting the kitchen and foyer areas of the group home as well as touching up the hallways, TV room, and dining room. The brotherhood from Hopewell Baptist Church, along with Michael Starnes Construction company, helped put in a new drainage system for our flooding issues, and formed up a concrete walkway for our residents to be able to safely evacuate the building during emergencies and fire drills. We also had four lovely ladies from Hopewell provide workers and residents with BBQ, baked beans, slaw, potato salad, homemade banana pudding, homemade lemon pound cake, and tea. Words could never adequately express our gratitude for the time, dedication, and kindness shown to our home. We are so very blessed by a loving and supportive community! God is so good!
