Trailblazers Return From 150-mile Backpack Trip
08.27.2008
The Trailblazers group, led by their chiefs Ben Wissel and Jordan Bell, completed their 18-day backpack trip. The group hiked a 150-mile portion of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. The group had a lot of fun scrambling on rocks along the way and running into different wildlife like deer and rattlesnakes. The trip helped the group be more together as they helped meet each other's needs and encouraged one another especially on the long, hard climbs. The Trailblazers celebrated their accomplishment by having dinner at Cici's Pizza on their way back to camp.
