Church Group Spends Time with Campers

Last Saturday, a group from Brookdale Baptist Church in Siler City spent time with boys at Cameron Boys Camp. The Rangers gave the church group a tour of their campsite. They also joined the other camp groups during lunch for a time of fellowship.

Antique Cars Ride to Cameron

Last Saturday, the Sanhills Chapter of the Antique Car Club drove to Cameron Boys Camp to spend some time with the campers. The campers enjoyed seeing the cars and learning more about them. The guests stayed for a meal and had a great time of fellowship as the campers got to know them better.

Hunt Springs Outreach Ministry Provides Lunch for Cameron

Hunt Springs Outreach Ministry in Sanford spent time at Cameron Boys Camp and brought a drag race car to the delight of campers. Woody Thomas used the car and his experience as a way to talk to campers about putting God first in their lives. The church also brought lunch and joined camp for the meal and fellowship.

Campers Treated to Lunch and More

On Saturday, May 20, all Cameron Boys Camp groups and a cottage from Oak Ranch went to Sharpsburg as Warren Pridgen hosted lunch at his barn. They were treated to a huge feast of barbecue and chicken. Several public safety vehicles were there such as fire trucks and police cars as well as a mobile command center. The campers learned from the patrol officer. They also enjoyed the taxidermy collection of animals in the barn.
