A Party Night Surprise at Cameron Camp

06.03.2008

In addition to the songs and regular skits produced by each group on party nights, the Cameron Camp staff presented a special surprise during Tuesday’s dinner program. The staff spent a couple of days sorting food from the food drive last week during which the skit developed. The skit honored the camp cooks, who worked hard during the big events in the past month such as Family Day and Founders Day, and ended with Paul Daley dressing up and singing as the cooks’ favorite singer/personality: Elvis Presley.

Cameron Fishing Contest Winners

06.03.2008

Cameron Boys Camp concluded its three-month fishing contest last Sunday. The winners were awarded a fishing pole and reel after breakfast Monday morning. Chief Chris Sewell, Frontiersmen chief, caught the most fish: 138 fish, and Chris H. in the Rangers group caught the most fish between campers. Chief Jordan Bell from the Trailblazers group caught the biggest fish weighing in at 3 1/2 pounds. Everyone had a lot of fun as the different camp groups competed with each other.
