Kennedy Home Staff Celebrate Christmas

Thank you to the Kennedy Home Staff Support Committee for planning, preparing and presenting another great staff Christmas Party at Cedar Dell, the magnificent home of Kennedy Home benefactors William and Emily Kennedy. The staff fellowshipped with one another enjoying tasty hors d’oeuvres in the foyer before sharing a delicious lunch in the dining room and parlor. The house was adorned with elegant Christmas wreaths, greenery and bows. Jeff Joyner entertained the group with several Christmas songs and Richard Poteat challenged everyone with a Christmas quiz. Sandy Perry ended the event with appreciation to all the staff for a great year of cooperation and working together for the children at Kennedy Home.

Kennedy Home Hosts Christmas Open House

Kennedy Home hosted a Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 13th. It was exciting and amazing to welcome so many friends. All of the cottages and historic Cedar Dell were open for tours and refreshments. At various times, more than 50 people were visiting in a cottage. The staff and children were overwhelmed by the generosity of visitors. The Christmas spirit was evident throughout the campus on this very rainy, cold Sunday.
