Kennedy Home Celebrates 96th Homecoming

Kennedy Home celebrated its 96th Homecoming on July 3rd and 4th. It was one of the best ever! John Thompson, former Minister of Music, led the morning worship service, providing a very patriotic theme. Several alumni presented special music and gave personal testimonies. Thank you Kennedy Home staff for the excellent work in making the campus look so beautiful. The alumni appreciated the welcoming spirit during the celebration.

Hayes Barton Church Opens Kennedy Home Swimming Pool

The Kennedy Home children and staff are grateful to Hayes Barton Baptist Church, Raleigh NC, for providing the funds to open the campus swimming pool this summer. Not only did they give the money for the initial maintenance cost, but also purchased new pool furniture, and personally supervised the project. The swimming pool area looks beautiful!! The church’s youth spent last week with us doing ministry events and work projects, such as a Luau at the pool, a scavenger hunt, Bible study, crafts, tutoring and lots and lots more. Kennedy Home is very blessed to have such a great friend.
