Mills Home Residents Go Fishing

On September 20th, Sportsmen for Christ and Green Street Baptist Church teamed up to provide the Benjamin Moye Classic Fishing Tournament. This tournament was organized for the residents of Mills Home and took place at beautiful High Rock Lake. We were blessed with beautiful weather and enough boaters participated so each resident could fish on a boat one on one with the boat owner! All of the fishing equipment was provided for the residents, and they were able to keep all of it at the end of the day. A cookout and awards ceremony followed the fishing. Mike, resident at Alumni Cottage, caught 113 fish! Everyone involved in the tournament had a wonderful time and all are looking forward to next year’s tournament.
