Family and Friends Day at Mills Home

The annual "Fall Family and Friends Day" at Mills Home was held on Sunday September, 21. We had a beautiful day of fun and fellowship. We began with Worship Service at the Mills Home Baptist Church. We recognized all our visitors and let them stand with the cottage they were visiting. Each cottage had several visitors. After the service, we gathered in the gym for a good meal of fried chicken and all the trimmings. After lunch, we returned to the church and our residents entertained our guests with songs, Christian dance and congregational singing. After this program, an ice cream truck vendor was waiting outside for all to enjoy an ice cream treat of their choice. A good time was had by all.
Mills Home Talent Show

The annual Mills Home Talent Show was held on September 9th. The campus event took place in the Teen Room which was decorated nicely for the evening. Numerous residents displayed their talents. Thanks to all those who participated and congratulations to the winners: Becca, Gabby and Alexis for their audience inspiring rendition of “I’m Trading my Sorrows”!
Luncheon for Thomasville Pediatrics

On August 19, Mills Home Support Services staff members Saundra Beck, Barbara Foster, Henry Eggers and Todd Shore prepared a delicious meal for 40 staff members from Thomasville Pediatrics. Mills Home supervisors helped served the meal. The invitation was extended to doctors, nurses and office staff. Mills Home appreciates the services provided by Thomasville Pediatrics.
