Wycessa Ransom Wins Excellence in Direct Service Award

Mill Home's Wycessa Ransom was named the Central Area Excellence in Direct Service award winner for 2010. Wycessa serves as a resident manager at Huffman Cottage, a transitional living group home for girls. Wycessa was described as person that cares for the residents and their families. She makes every effort to see that the vision of BCH is carried out. She treats the residents and families with respect and tries to make sure that the residents have what they need. She makes each child at her cottage a priority. She has a smile as she meets others on campus and always makes every effort to speak. Wycessa often works on her time off at other cottages to help where care is needed and staffing is short. She conducts herself very professionally as a residential manager and fill-in child care worker. She sees the good in each child and not the behavior. She sets an example for others to follow. Mills Home Celebrates Case Managers and Clinician

In March, Mills Home celebrated Case Manager/Clinician month. We honored our case managers and clinician with a meal out. The Mills Home supervisory team voted to make them our Employees of the Month for March. We appreciate the work they do with the children and their families. They put in lots of time and energy to make each placement successful. Congratulations to our case managers and clinician: Delores West, Lauren Johnson, Sid Loflin, Andy Snovak, Andrea Walker and Sarah Webb.
