Mills Home Family and Friends Day

On April 19, Mills Home celebrated Family and Friends day with the help of several area churches through their “Project Operation In As Much." Youth from Green Street Baptist Church participated in a staff/resident basketball game. Other youth and adults from Green Street were busy preparing lunch for the hungry crowd. Dozens and dozens of cupcakes were provided by an adult Sunday school class at Trinity Baptist Church. After a delicious meal, we all gathered at Mills Home Baptist Church to enjoy the praise and worship service again provided by youth from Green Street. Another project that day was landscaping at the Nolen Building and Mitchell Museum. A group from Jersey Baptist Church provided the plants and hard work. Also a group of adults from First Baptist Church in High Point worked in our library. Mills Home staff, residents and family members appreciate the kindness shown by others.
