Churches Help Care House

On Saturday, February 19, 2011, Care House was blessed with, not one, but two churches working on several projects at the house. Kings Creek Baptist Church worked outside, building steps into two storage buildings and digging up and replacing stepping stones in the yard. Some youth from the church raked leaves and bagged them into 25 bags! Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church also worked at Care House painting two bedrooms that are currently empty. They look absolutely beautiful. Some men from the church returned on Wednesday evening, February 23, after church services, to replace all the furniture into the two rooms. Staff and residents of Care House appreciate the thoughtfulness and kindness that is always shown to them by their surrounding community.
