
Lieutenant Governor Visits Baptist Children’s
Homes Boys and Girls

Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue visited the children living at Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina’s (BCH) Broyhill Home in Clyde on Friday, October 5. BCH president Michael C. Blackwell made the trip from his Thomasville office to greet the Lt. Gov. Blackwell extended an invitation to Perdue, a former public school educator, months earlier. The children and staff members organized a special program and presented a special quilt to the Lt. Gov. covered with their handprints. Perdue and Blackwell added their own handprints to the colorful creation.
