Linda Elliott of Danville, Va and Pete Knight of Hamptonville, NC catch up with one another before the morning worship service at Mills Home Baptist Church in Thomasville. They both lived at Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina’s (BCH) Mills Home in the sixties. Elliott, Knight and other Mills Home alumni celebrated their annual Homecoming at the Thomasville campus this past weekend sharing memories and smiles at the place they call “home.” Alumni refer to one another as “brothers and sisters” as the people they lived with at Mills Home are sometimes the only family they’ve ever known. Established in 1885, Mills Home is BCH’s oldest residential campus.
