Bikers Provide Children a Summer of Fun

Approximately 300 motorcycles roared onto Baptist Children’s Homes’ Mills Home in Thomasville on Sunday, May 6 for the second annual “Country Legends Ride.” Bikers from across the state participated in the 53-mile ride raising $7,000 to fund a trip to Paramount’s Carowinds and other summer activities for boys and girls living at the campus. The ride was organized by the High Rock Lake chapter of the Southern Cruisers motorcycle riding club with the help of area sponsors.
