President Sends Letter of Appreciation to
Blackwell

Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina (BCH) president Michael C. Blackwell received a letter of appreciation from President George W. Bush and his wife Laura for his 25 years of service helping children and families. The letter was presented to Blackwell on Sunday, August 3 by alumni of BCH’s Mills Home campus in Thomasville during the annual alumni homecoming event. Charles and Clifton Lambreth, who lived at Mills Home from 1966 to 1978, made the presentation. Blackwell observed his 25th anniversary as BCH President on July 1.
