Baptist Children’s Homes President Receives Key to
City of Thomasville

Thomasville mayor Joe Bennett presented Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina (BCH) president Michael C. Blackwell with a key to the city on Tuesday, June 3. Blackwell was given the key in honor of his twenty-fifth anniversary as President of the statewide child care institution. He officially celebrates the anniversary on July 1. Blackwell received the honor at Mills Home in Thomasville, BCH’s oldest residential campus, in front of staff members, members of BCH’s Board of Trustees, and other supporters.
